National Emergency Management
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) provides assistance during disasters and educates people on emergency preparedness and how they can get involved in their local community's response efforts.
New Jersey Emergency Management
The NJ Office of Emergency Management plans, directs, and coordinates emergency operations within the state by working with the government, law enforcement, the Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector. New Jersey Homeland Security
The NJ Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness administrates, coordinates, and supervises New Jersey's counterterrorism and preparedness efforts. Report suspicious activity online by emailing tips@njohsp.gov or by calling 866-472-3365.
Contact and Locate Loved Ones
After a disaster, people can list themselves as safe on the American Red Cross Contact and Locate Loved Ones program, which allows families to search for their loved ones impacted by disasters.
