Homeless Prevention Program
This program provides up to three months of assistance to pay past-due rent to households in imminent danger of eviction due to temporary financial problems beyond their control. To learn more, contact the office in your area.
Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program
The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program assists low-income households by paying a portion of the monthly rent directly to the landlord.
It only accepts applicants during Open Enrollment periods. Waitlist openings are posted here. Several municipal and county authorities administer Section 8 existing housing programs throughout the state. Housing Resources and Support
The Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program coordinates housing assistance and provides resources to enable assisted families to achieve economic self-sufficiency. Participation generally lasts five years. For additional information, call 609-292-3846.
