Ocean County After-Hours Adult Protective Services Hotline

Working in partnership with Ocean County Board of Social Services, we operate their after-hours hotline Adult Protective Services hotline. We complete a report from callers who suspect abuse, neglect and exploitation of vulnerable adults living in a community setting. Vulnerable adults are defined as individuals 18 or older who due to physical or mental illness, disability or deficiency, lack sufficient understanding or capacity to make, communicate, or carry out decisions concerning his or her well-being. All reports are forwarded to the Board of Social Services on the next business day for further investigation.
